Randy White, founder of Bright Neighbor, will lead our Thursday, December 10 meeting at 7:30 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, SE 39th and Steele. Bright Neighbor is a social networking website dedicated to helping communities thrive through collaboration, co-learning and cooperation.

Learn how to swap and share with your neighbors, post or find out about local events and community resources, and discover transportation and ride-sharing options. Bright Neighbor’s tools help increase livability, sustainability and relocalization while simultaneously improving local economies. Randy will also give an update on the fruit tree pruning and grafting (and carbon sequestration) event February 6.

Transition SE South aims to bring the Transition message of building community resilience against climate change, rising energy costs and economic decline to the Southeast neighborhoods south of Powell and west of 82nd.  We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Trinity UMC.

Trinity is right on the #75 (39th) and the #10 (Harold) bus lines.  It is about six blocks from where the #17 (Holgate) and the #19 (Woodstock) stop at 39th.  Please join us!
