Way out in Gladstone, OR! Some people may recall that last year’s City Repair interns and I had been visiting the school to spark the initial phases of placemaking. Well so many months later, look where they are! A participating placemaking community site in VBC10! So exciting! The teacher, Brad, is inspiring and passionate, and the students were enthusiastic and creative. See if you can pick out some of the elements in their initial clay sculpture designs (as seen in the above linked post) in their current ‘Cobzebo’ designed by them with help from and drawn by this year’s placemaking coordinator Sebastian Collet!
