Description We’ve had a very busy spring in the garden at Mt. Scott High School.  Starting with a Depave/Degravel event in March, followed by two Earth Day events in April, and culminating with continued planting and outdoor improvements by the students, we have transformed an uninviting parking lot into a thriving greenspace.  This entire effort was run off of volunteer labor, donations, and community support- for which we would like to thank you at a celebratory event from 11:30 – 1 PM on Friday June 5th.

fertile-grounds-mslc-depaveThis space is the direct result of your contributions and we’d love to share it with you.  Please join us as we honor the generous volunteers and business partners that have supported Mt. Scott this year.  A barbecue lunch will be served beginning at 11:30 AM.  Students leaders will be on hand to give tours of the high school building and outdoor greenspace project. In case you’ve forgotten, the high school is located in the Laurelwood Church at 6148 SE Holgate Blvd.

Hope to see you there!  If you can’t wait until June 5th- check out the “before” picture attached and the “after” photos in these online galleries to see the transformation.

Thank you!
