Years Painted

1996-2015

Description

This was the first intersection repair in the world! This project was the original prototype that first established the legal transformation of street intersections into community crossroads. The themes painted include the Earth, the four season of the Tree of Life, the Four Directions symbolized by various animals, a dandelion motif, a dinosaur being helped by Superman to eat an entire car, neighbors' visions, various cultures represented in the community through the symbols of doors and a depiction of the houses that surround the square turning into birds and taking flight.
