Bring Your New and/or ‘Gently Worn’ Shoes to Overlook Park April 19th!
adidas and Soles4Souls partner to keep shoes out of the landfill and put them on the feet of people who really need them.
American closets are cluttered with shoes that never see the light of day. Last year, more than 300 million pairs of shoes were added to our growing landfills. You can bring joy to someone in need while reducing the strain on our landfills. Soles4Souls Inc., an international charity dedicated to GIVING away free shoes to people in third-world countries, will find a happy home for your excess footwear. The charity has already given 3.2 million pairs of shoes away to people in 60 countries in less than three years. Bring your surplus athletic, dress, and casual footwear or any other new or gently used shoes to Earth Day and help the world in TWO ways!
