Do you see the street intersection paintings around town, benches made of earth, or food forests? Through our Placemaking Program we help communities and institutions accomplish such programs. The program is open to communities and organizations in the Portland Metro Area, Gresham, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Oregon City, Milwaukie, and Vancouver. Most projects are implemented during our ten-day event, the Village Building Convergence (VBC), on Friday May 31st to Sunday June 9, 2019. Sometimes, projects extend into the summer, but the last date we support painting projects is on National Night Out, the first Tuesday in August.
