March Time Bank Orientation

  • 750 Southwest Yamhill Street Portland, OR, 97205 United States (map)

Facebook event page: Time Bank is a program that City Repair uses to benefit volunteers for time served. When you sign up through the Time Bank you can earn time dollars volunteering with us and then you can use the time dollars for services for yourself. If you cant make Saturday orientations, City Repair Volunteer Coordinator Kirk ( can set up a special time for you.

**About the event:** Get an overview of how the PDX Time Bank works and learn how to use the software! Oreintations are a required step to join the time bank. **The event is Saturday, 3/4, between 10:30 am and 11:45 am.**

Orientations are not only an opportunity to welcome you into the time bank, but we cover time banking principles that will help you with your time banking experience once you get started. We will also go over the software, which you will use to search for ads, join groups, and record your hours. We're happy to answer any questions you might have.

All participants will get a time dollar in exchange for their presence!

To get information on the PDX Time Bank and/or fill out an application visit . Anyone is welcome to attend regardless of where they are in the application process.

Only eight seats are available in the Fox Tower Umpqua Bank conference room (750 SW Yamhill St.) . RSVPing in advance is helpful so that we know how many time bank agreements to print out and have enough seats , but no one will be turned away from orientation. If you arrive late and miss something, we can go over it with you after the orientation is complete.

NOTE: This orientation is downtown where parking is hard to find, so taking the bus or Max is a good idea.
