The Urban Permaculture Design Course (UPDC) is taught by City Repair staff members, design consultants and regional educators that integrates City Repair’s unique urban placemaking methodologies with the required 72 hours of content of a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC), the curriculum that earns participants an internationally-recognized PDC. The primary topic areas are framed through the permaculture lens of regenerative and justice-based design practices. The class spans from October 2019 thru May 2020 with full course details here: https://cityrepair.org/updc.
This event is an open house and potluck for interested students to meet some of the course instructors and ask in person questions. Students from previous years are invited to this meet and greet as well. While this is a potluck, City Repair will be providing a main course and enough for everyone - so don’t worry if you do not bring a dish. The main course will be vegan, vegetarian and meat dishes are welcome in the potluck.
Reserving a space in the UPDC requires a deposit which can be paid for at this event.
