2020 was the 20th anniversary for the Village Building Convergence. This, coupled with the converging crises of the pandemic, continuing climate chaos and the uprisings all catalyzed us to reckon with what we value, reflect on our work and how to make it more relevant to our uncertain times. We have been restructuring the organization, reflecting on how white body supremacy culture is imbued into our organization at every level, and re-aligning ourselves towards justice and collective liberation.
