When you arrive, you're welcome to walk around and check out the yard. We'll meet at the street corner of NE 8th and NE Holland at 10am to start.
Come take a stroll with Liz around the lively wild magic garden that she's built from scratch. Liz is an advocate of permaculture techniques, soil health, biodiversity, sustainability, and building backyard habitats and ecosystems. She's taken this corner lot of grass, weeds and mud, and has turned it into a garden oasis full of life and color. She loves spotting the first lady bugs of the season, and listening to all of the birds who play in her yard. She's learned so much over the years and would love to share with you the techniques that she's used, as well as give some tips and tricks on how to make things flourish quickly and on a budget. The tour will also include information on how to grow seasonal shade to help cool your home from the outside. This will be an interactive, collaborative tour, with lots of questions and answers, so come curious!
