Filmed early in the COVID-19 pandemic, this documentary spreads the “worldview of hope” that permaculture offers. While traveling all over Japan and the West Coast with a one-year-old son, the filmmakers speak with people working to reestablish a close relationship with the Earth while having fun. The film includes locations in Portland, such as Kailash Ecovillage! The film is primarily in Japanese with English subtitles.
Please park in the main Catlin Gabel parking lot and head along the northwest sidewalk to the green building (see map). The movie starts at 6:30 and food will be served.
