The closing circle is open to all Village Building Convergence participants, volunteers, site hosts, project teams and commmunity members — come together to celebrate the incredible work that has happened. Share your amazing projects or begin planning for a new project next year.
Vegetarian dinner will be served + other opportunities to celebrate together including a papercrete workshop, Bon dance, art projects, the T-Horse, and community connection.
Bon (pronounced bone) dance is a Japanese folk dance, but it is constantly changing depending on the place and time. We want a dance that is funky and unique to Portland. Let’s celebrate, give thanks, and reconnect with the world.
Event attendance requires an RSVP. Address will be shared with registered guests. Kids and families welcome.
