City Repair will have a model on display at the City Of Possibility exhibit! The model is part of a winning proposal for Portland’s 1998 Monumental Ideas competition. Called The Watergather, it was a series of human scale ecological villages and environments that would host an annual city wide watershed celebration. The intent was also to inspire the population of the city to return to their own neighborhoods determined to revillage their own places!
Built by 7 person team including CR co-founders Michael Hebb, Mark Lakeman, Joseph Christman, and friends Dorothy Pauton, Marna Houk, Heather Barnes, and David Lochte.
Please join us for the grand opening at 401 SW 5th, set for Friday, January 31st at 6pm!
