Ujima Center Art Bazaar — Past & Future
Rejoice with the past, envision the future! Join us in re-villaging the city for more sustainable and healthy relationships with oneself, one’s family, community, and the land and all that surrounds us. Come to Ujima Center, VBC site of many years, to experience community in action!
Ujima Center is an artist collective and Natural Building and Permaculture demonstration site.
From 12-6, we are hosting an Art Bazaar showcasing work from a fabulous group of local artisans. We will offer an official tour of the site at 5pm. From 6:30pm - 10pm there will be a house concert with 3 amazing live bands at the Ujima Center. Self guided tours throughout the day will also be possible. Please come and check us out: experience the famous SunRay Kelley treehouse, plus several rocket stoves, cob ovens and more!
