Come participate in Village Building Convergence 2024 with People’s this year! Join us on June 14th and 15th to help us paint a street mural on SE Tibbetts St between SE 20th and 21st (aka the Farmers' Market street!). This mural project, which we're calling Celebrate Togetherness: Celebrate Togetherness: The Food, Flora, and Fauna of People's Market, is a synthesis of so many of the ideas you all shared with us during our recent community mural engagements.
You're all invited to come and help us bring this mural to fruition in June! We'll have a Mural Kickoff Party on June 14th from 6-8pm, where we'll gather to lay down the first coat of primer and enjoy a meal together.
On June 15th, we'll have an all-day painting party from 10am-4pm or later! Bring your friends and family out to help us paint this giant artwork. We'll have food, drinks, and music! Show up at 9am if you want to yoga in the courtyard.
